Senior Sales Account Executive

Chemical Sales / Process Manufacturing
This is a direct-hire position & offers full benefits, job stability, a strong base salary plus commission potential.. Our client is a growing, privately-held chemical company and offers extensive growth potential and a positive work environment. We’re looking for someone in the Newport / Howard, Indiana area, although our client is absolutely willing to assist with relocation costs.

Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with client and leverage product knowledge to increase sales.
- Retain existing business and cultivate long-term customer partnerships.
- Champion a safety-focused culture and ensure adherence to relevant policies.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for both the company and customers.
- Utilize industry expertise to troubleshoot and solve customer problems effectively.
- Foster trust-based relationships at all levels.
- Make data-driven decisions while upholding company values.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information using designated tools.
- Submit reports promptly and efficiently.
- Pursue ongoing learning and skill development through available training opportunities.
- Manage assigned inventory and company assets.
- Demonstrate strong planning and preparation skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is strongly(preferred (Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Biology), but candidates with other degrees and experience in the pulp and paper field will be considered.
- 5+ years of relevant experience and/or training
- Pulp & paper industry experience, knowledge of wet end chemistry and/or functional chemistry is considered a “plus”
- Strong understanding of business and financial terminology
