Job Title: IP Staff Scientist or Patent Agent (Chemistry)


Position Overview: We are looking for a Staff Scientist or Patent Agent with a robust technical background in chemistry. An advanced degree is required (Ph.D. preferred; a Master's degree with significant industry experience is acceptable).


Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and prosecute patent applications.

• Conduct IP due diligence and FTO analyses.

• Assist with litigation and/or post-grant matters as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a law firm setting is helpful.

Position Overview: We are hiring a Patent Agent specializing in electrical engineering. This role involves drafting and prosecuting patent applications related to electrical engineering innovations. The position is based in Boston, requiring in-person attendance at least 3 days per week, with some remote flexibility (up to 2 days per week).


Key Responsibilities:

• Draft new patent applications by integrating legal processes with electrical engineering expertise.

• Prosecute patent applications involving new discoveries in electrical engineering.

• Communicate with internal teams and clients regularly.

• Review and analyze relevant literature and patents.

• Contribute to knowledge-sharing materials and analytical summaries.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in electrical engineering or a related field.

• Registration as a Patent Agent with the USPTO.

• At least one year of relevant experience in electrical engineering and patent prosecution.
