Overview

Cisco’s SiliconOne is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Test Engineering to join our expanding Silicon Operations team. This key role involves spearheading the test development for our state-of-the-art Network Switching Silicon products, which support over 40 Cisco platforms across a range of sectors, including cloud, AI/ML, service provider, enterprise campus, and data center networks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead a diverse, global team of test engineering leaders and their teams in creating wafer, device, and system-level ATE test solutions for SiliconOne’s product portfolio.
  • Test Solution Development: Oversee the creation and deployment of automated test solutions for post-silicon verification, device characterization, prototype delivery, and high-volume manufacturing ramp-up.
  • Quality and Delivery: Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality test solutions that meet test coverage, yield, and cost targets.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate closely with silicon design, post-silicon verification, reliability and quality engineering, and product engineering teams to drive test strategy and scale operations.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor and cultivate future test leaders, enhancing the talent pool and leadership pipeline within the organization.
  • Business and Ecosystem Engagement: Engage with senior Cisco executives to align with business needs and contribute to the SiliconOne strategy from a test perspective. Build strong partnerships with executive-level leaders and engineering counterparts at silicon ecosystem partners.


Experience and Skills

  • Experience: 15+ years in Automated Test Systems (ATE) with hands-on experience in test solution development for wafer sort, final test, and system-level testing.
  • Technical Expertise: Profound understanding of silicon Design for Test (DFT) methodologies and test coverage evaluation.
  • Data Analysis: Proficient in collecting and analyzing test data for digital and analog ICs, performing advanced analytics for design and process insights.
  • Problem Solving: Strong capability to debug silicon defects and provide test solutions for failure analysis and corrective actions.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading global teams, defining test KPIs, and driving systematic yield improvements.
  • Business Acumen: Strong operational rigor and strategic thinking in executing test operations plans.
  • Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate diverse teams.




Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
