Job Title: Hardware Test Engineer

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join a leading networking company in the Bay Area. As a member of the Silicon Operations team, you will focus on ATE test bring up in the post-silicon lifecycle. You will partner with the ASIC team to bring up tests, characterize units, and debug chip issues. Your primary responsibility will be testing for quality issues on a high volume of products to drive failure analysis, containment, and root cause corrective actions. A strong candidate will have experience in development and debug to provide insights to production and DFT.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform hands-on testing of ASIC chips
  • Collaborate with the ASIC team to bring up tests and debug chip issues
  • Test for quality issues on high-volume products
  • Drive failure analysis, containment, and root cause corrective actions
  • Provide insights to production and DFT

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience working with ASIC chips
  • Strong experience with Silicon Validation
  • Experience working with Advantest 93000 tester
  • Debugging and Failure Analysis skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Python Scripting skills
  • C, C++, and 93000 test methods
