THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leveraging a broad spectrum of expertise-from hands-on experience in constructing cloud infrastructure to shaping the data strategy of the business-this role positions you at the strategic helm of the company's data transformation journey. Your contributions will be pivotal as the organization embarks on a comprehensive cloud migration and modernization of its data architecture.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the Engineering Strategy: Spearhead the development, execution, and oversight of the company's engineering strategy as they transition from SQL-based systems to AWS cloud infrastructure. You will play a key role in modernizing and consolidating various data streams into a centralized, scalable architecture that supports the company's long-term objectives.
  • Engage and Align Senior Stakeholders: Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive the evolution of data management within the organization. Your role will involve securing stakeholder buy-in for the implementation of robust data governance frameworks, ensuring that data quality and governance standards are upheld across the business.
  • Influence and Upskill Leadership: Act as a strategic advisor, guiding the upskilling of the Business Intelligence (BI) team and empowering them to leverage data effectively. You will help the team answer critical business questions and utilize data-driven insights to facilitate informed decision-making, ultimately driving business growth.

This position not only demands technical acumen but also requires strong leadership and strategic foresight to shape the company's data landscape and influence its future direction.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
