Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking to make an impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? We are seeking a highly skilled Buyer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory, ensuring our organization runs smoothly and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:


Purchase Orders:

  • Place Drop Ship and Stocking purchase orders with our vendor base.
  • Analyze internal requests for inventory purchases and make informed recommendations.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet target ranges through effective purchase order expedites and adjustments.
  • Monitor key inventory metrics and suggest improvements to our buying strategies.
  • Support international vendor purchasing programs and strategy.


ERP Data Management:

  • Utilize ERP systems data effectively to evaluate buy decisions.
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies and receiving issues.
  • Work with our distribution center on inventory kit and assembly modifications.


Vendor Management:

  • Negotiate the best pricing and delivery terms in conjunction with the extended team.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with new and existing vendors.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to analyze current market trends and develop corresponding action plans.


Other Responsibilities:

  • Manage special projects as needed.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as assigned by management.


Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of industry experience in a similar position.
  • Associate's or 4-year degree preferred, but not required.


Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, including interdepartmental communications, telephone, and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Experience with Sage ERP systems (Sage 100) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
