We are seeking a Systems Analyst 3 to support critical infrastructure and security operations for the TIERS Cloud Migration project. This role focuses on system administration, security monitoring, and implementing industry-leading practices to safeguard systems and data.

This fully remote role requires candidates to reside in the Austin, TX area and offers the opportunity to work with advanced security frameworks and cutting-edge tools.


Responsibilities

  • Provide infrastructure and operations support for cloud migration projects.
  • Perform system administration tasks for both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Conduct security architecture reviews and monitor operations to identify and resolve vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and manage NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, and MARS-E controls.
  • Support Oracle, MSSQL, and Postgres databases.
  • Develop concise written reports and communicate findings effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends.
  • Ensure networks are secure, updating security systems to reflect any changes in hardware or software.


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in system security analysis, problem-solving, and solution implementation.
  • Expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems and applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of network operating systems, data processing techniques, and performance monitoring tools.
  • Proven experience implementing NIST frameworks, POA&Ms, and corrective action plans.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Database support experience with Oracle, MSSQL, and Postgres.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity with tools such as Archer GRC, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Qualys.
  • Ability to train teams on network and information security protocols.
