Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement security solutions that integrate with the organization’s existing IT infrastructure to enhance overall security posture.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans on networks, applications, and systems, and collaborate with other teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
  • Perform penetration tests and ethical hacking activities to identify security gaps and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Work with the Incident Response Team to investigate security incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Deploy, manage, and maintain security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Monitor network traffic and system logs for unusual activity, and respond to security alerts to mitigate threats.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
  • 3-5 years of experience in security engineering, information security, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in security tools (e.g., Nessus, Metasploit, Wireshark), network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption technologies.
  • Strong understanding of security architecture, network security, application security, and cloud security principles.
  • High level of integrity and adherence to ethical standards in security practices.
