Finally, a career for the ultimate puzzle fan. As a Technical Consultant for capSpire, you’ll be part of a problem-solving project team that’s developing and delivering innovative technical solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate for this role can face a complex business challenge head-on and tackle it by implementing customized technical solutions. When you’re not busy being a solution all-star, you’ll work alongside market specialists with deep industry knowledge, giving you a chance to broaden your skillset and expertise.


The Non-Negotiables:

  • Experience or familiarity with ASP.Net/C# applications and components using SQL Server/Oracle preferably in the energy and/or financial sectors.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems with relentless passion.
  • Ability to acquire overall business knowledge to help create long-term customer solutions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience (Remember: This is a customer-facing role)
  • Ability to work with a collaborative team, providing input while accepting others’ ideas with an open mind, with the goal of building engineering quality enterprise solutions for our clients.
  • Personal drive to work in a self-motivated, self-directed fashion.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create technical solutions for system implementations, upgrades and enhancements. This can come in the form of helping with a system implementation, upgrade or enhancement.
  • Build design documents.
  • Contribute to the development of Object Oriented system designs.
  • Ensure proper software design for scalability, robustness, maintainability, and integration with other components and systems.
  • Participate in validation of test cases
  • Gain an understanding of front, mid and back offices to help properly help capSpire meet client business needs.
