Litigation Paralegal

Murphy Schiller & Wilkes (MSW) is a boutique law firm servicing the commercial real estate and construction industries. The firm is currently seeking to hire a full-time Paralegal to support the firm's Litigation and Construction Law practice groups.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Litigation Paralegal at our Newark office. The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for assisting attorneys with day-to-day tasks including legal document preparation, document review, legal research, and drafting pleadings and motions. The role requires strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a litigation paralegal is required
• Legal Document Preparation, Document Review, and Legal Research skills
• Experience in drafting pleadings and motions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in legal software and databases
• Knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules
• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification
