eNGINE is hiring a 110% remote Project Manager for our Pittsburgh based healthcare services industry customers. This person will be responsible for the scheduling, resource allocation, coordination, implementation and management of IT projects.


Job duties:

  • Lead the Corporate IT Team proactively by setting project direction, creating project plans, identifying key milestones, and selecting appropriate participants for each project.
  • Manage project schedules, deadlines, and resource conflicts.
  • Synthesize data, develop recommendations, and review findings with business leadership.
  • Provide dashboard-level reporting across IT projects.
  • Work closely with the project’s key management team to ensure all activities progress on schedule.
  • Identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities within the project.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses on a broad array of issues across disciplines, projects, and functional areas as assigned.
  • Prepare preliminary interpretations of analyses for project teams, customers, and/or department management; recommend suggested action steps based on analysis results.
  • Assist in the development of project proposals, recommendations, implementation plans, communication packages, performance measurement tools, and training materials related to assigned projects.


What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience managing IT projects, including working closely with software development teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, business, or a related field required.
  • A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, call center operations, and project management is required.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Microsoft Project required; Microsoft Visio skills preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously while working under deadlines.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Previous healthcare and/or operations background strongly preferred.
  • A thorough understanding of managed care processes is helpful.
