Required Skills:

  • Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance.
  • Minimum of 5 years Engineering design experience and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field, or a master’s degree with relevant internship experience
  • A self-motivated and effective communicator
  • Ability to take a design concept from the block diagram or requirements level and develop a complete hardware design, and verifying via test and integration
  • Experience with PCB design tasks and proven ability to use tools to design (schematic capture), analyze and simulate designs prior to hardware execution
  • Capable of functioning in multi-disciplined design teams across multiple projects
  • Must be a self-starter, a quick learner, and be able to function in a dynamic environment, and have good time management skills
  • Proficient in digital circuit card design
  • Competent in circuit analysis
  • Competent in COTS integration


Desired Skills:

  • Experience using Altium Designer, or equivalent.
  • Experience performing time domain and AC signal analysis in one of the following: LTSpice, QSpice, PSpice. Awareness and experience of digital simulation environments.
  • Experience in the development and design of electronic circuit designs, multi-assembly system/unit design, and processor designs
  • Team and project leadership skills
  • Experience with embedded test techniques, design for test, design margin analysis and design for production
  • Experience with military specifications or similar (MIL-STD-1553, MIL-STD-1760, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464)
  • Design experience with environmental and electro-magnetic interference (EMI) concerns


Education Requirements:

  • Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of related work experience.
