Responsibilities

·      Applying supplier evaluation criteria, updating the database and communicating with them to show the evaluation result and preparing a list of approved suppliers.

·      Coordination and follow-up with the concerned units within the Mission and suppliers to ensure that the mission’s needs of supplies and purchases are secured at the specified times and with the most appropriate specifications, quantities, and best prices.

·      Reviewing, executing, and issuing purchase orders, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with the policies and procedures followed, and completing the required approvals for procurement procedures on time.

·      Reviewing and auditing supplier invoices with purchase orders and ensuring their accuracy in accordance with the terms of the contract and in accordance with the Ministry.

·      Preparing periodic reports on procurement processes and supplier performance

·      Financial analysis of bids, preparation of all documents, and detailed appendices for contracts, and their approval in coordination with the concerned units.

·      Drafting contracts, following up on contracting procedures with contractors and consultants, and ensuring that contracts include penal terms, time periods, and approved legislative and legal requirements.

·      Requesting performance guarantees from suppliers with whom contracts are concluded

·      Matching and approving supplier invoices with contracts and ensuring their accuracy.

·      Any other tasks assigned to him within his competence.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Arabic language written and spoken is a must
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
