Salary: $90-140K + AMAZING benefits

Schedule: Hybrid


Responsibilities:

Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.

Advise clients on wealth preservation and succession planning strategies.

Assist clients with trust administration, including trust funding, asset transfers, and compliance with fiduciary duties.

Represent clients in probate proceedings, including petitioning for probate, estate administration, and contested matters.

Provide legal advice on estate and gift tax matters.

Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure efficient client service and case management.

Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in trust and estate laws.


Requirements:

3-5 years of experience with estate planning/estate administration (they will look at candidates with over 5 years of experience too)

Experience with elder law and special needs planning would be a bonus, but not required.

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Must be admitted to practice in New York or able to waive into the NYS bar.

Excellent drafting, communication, and client management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
