Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury and family law, with a passion for advocating for clients in various legal matters. This role offers a unique opportunity to handle a diverse caseload, including medical malpractice and construction site injuries, while developing your skills in a supportive environment.

  • Quarterly bonus opportunities of up to 25-40K
  • Anticipated yearly comp 235-245K
  • Hybrid is acceptable after initial intro period

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior attorneys in preparing legal documents and case files
  • Conduct legal research and analyze case law
  • Represent clients in court hearings and mediations
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather information
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals on complex cases
  • Attend depositions and trials as needed

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active state bar membership
  • 1-3 years of experience in personal injury or family law preferred
  • Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated interest in areas such as medical malpractice, construction injuries, and motor vehicle collisions
