DAY TO DAY:

Our client, a very fast-growing life insurance firm in Durham is seeking a Manager or Director of Treasury to join their team as a full time employee. This individual is responsible for directly assisting the Treasurer in strategically managing global liquidity and performing treasury activities related to cash flow, borrowings, debt, and liquidity management. In addition, the position will be responsible for allocating cash balances, maintaining banking records, and assisting in preparing cash forecasts as well as supporting and backing-up the Accounts Payable team. This person should also have a good understanding of a treasury work station


We are seeking a driven, self-starter with a solid understanding of finance and accounting to assist with the buildout of the Treasury team and systems and to ensure policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory requirements. Communication skills are highly important, as well as the ability to problem solve and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Qualifications:


MUSTS:

  • 8+ years MIN of experience in treasury or cash management
  • Experience in cash management
  • Exposure to GTreasur, Kyriba or Integrity
  • Knowledge of assets and manage accounts that hold non-assets
  • Bachelors required – ideally finance and accounting
  • Strong experience using Excel for cash flow modeling
  • Has experience with liquidity management and banking side of a company
  • Strong analysis in looking at where a company is today and project that forward
  • Some mentorship or leadership experience
