Position Overview

The Trade Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to drive sales and growth within the trade segment of our business. This position will be responsible for managing relationships with trade professionals such as interior designers, architects, contractors, and developers. The Trade Manager will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities, execute initiatives, and achieve revenue targets.


Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute strategic plans to grow sales within the trade segment, including targeting dormant accounts and expanding existing relationships.

2. Build and maintain strong relationships with trade professionals, including interior designers, architects, contractors, and developers.

3. Act as the primary point of contact for trade customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout the sales process.

4. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create customized sales materials, presentations, and promotional campaigns targeted towards trade professionals.

5. Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to promote our brand and establish new business opportunities.

6. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and challenges.

7. Analyze sales data and performance metrics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize results.

8. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of trade initiatives.

9. Develop and train In-House Trade Concierge to drive sales for the organization, outreach to dormant accounts, follow up with dormant applications, provide excellent concierge service and enhance the customer experience.


Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.

· Proven experience in sales, customer service management, or client management, preferably in a trade-focused environment.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with trade customers.

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.

· Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Knowledge of interior design or home furnishings industry is a plus.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
