Manager Notes

Must understand end to end IT auditing

All within this department: Budget, forecasting, audit, service desk, data privacy

8 systems in scope for audit---0 deficiencies 5 years in a row

Partner with IT Program Manager responsible for audit – they have a well-defined audit plan in place.

Familiar IT systems, SOX, AD, ERP applications, conducting/participating in IT audit (request list, evidence that supports controls)

Must have: SOX, IT general controls (ITGC), application controls (ITAC), and how to test them, participate and execute IT audits (internal audit is required, external audit exp is a bonus), change management, priviledged access management, etc.

SOC2 is a plus, auditing in a Manufacturing environment is a plus, ISO is a plus

Selling: Multiple experience with ERP systems-get the knowledge on how they work, a lot of SOX experience.

It’s not about getting it done but how you do it.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Management Information Systems, preferred.

Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or commitment to obtain a certification within 18 months.

2 years of experience working with IT SOX controls as an auditor or maintaining SOX controls in an IT environment, preferred.

Fundamental understanding of Information Technology including but not limited to cloud, operating systems, security, system development lifecycle (SDLC), infrastructure, and data management.

Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and internal control frameworks including COSO, COBIT, NIST, and ISO.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to document and communicate

audit procedures, findings, and recommendations. Ability to collaborate and communicate cross functionally.

Execute tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.


Description

The IT Audit & Compliance Analyst II will partner with key business functions, internal IT staff,

and external auditors to ensure that the SOX compliance program and key IT controls for

processes and procedures are in place and monitored across the organization.


Responsibilities

Perform testing of IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC) relevant for J-SOX compliance.

Assist in development of annual audit plan.

Perform assigned IT audits such as change management, privileged access review, self-assessment, and data center audit.

Incorporate the use of technology, audit tools, and techniques when deemed cost effective.

Assist in coordination with external auditors and Panasonic on IT related matters,

including working with control owners to collect audit evidence.

Prepare appropriate documentation including but not limited to narratives, workflows, control matrices, segregation of duties analysis, self-assessments, and audit workpapers.

Review and assess SSAE 18 SOC Reports from third party vendors including analysis of

subservice organizations.

Assist in the issuance of company’s digital products SSAE 18 SOC Report.

Assist in evaluating, monitoring, and remediating deficiencies and audit findings.
