The position will be based in our Clearwater, FL or Ontario, CA facility reporting to the VP of R&D.This role is best suited for someone who loves to create cutting edge audio products If you are an audiophile with a passion for making audio products come to life, this role is for you


The person in this job will be primarily responsible for creating cutting edge audio product concepts, roadmaps, business planning timelines and reporting on progress with inputs from the various contributing groups in the company. This person will need to work closely with Sales, Marketing & Technical Support for product requirements, maintenance & opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:


Conceptualization and Design

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate innovative product ideas.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends.
  • Develop product specifications and design concepts.

Project Management

  • Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate tasks and ensure all project milestones are met.
  • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.

Product Testing and Validation

  • Oversee prototype development and testing.
  • Analyze test data and iterate on product designs.
  • Ensure products meet quality and safety standards.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from various stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on product development progress.


Market Launch

  • Assist in the creation of marketing and sales materials.
  • Manage product launches and promotional activities.
  • Monitor product performance post-launch and recommend improvements


Requirements:


  • This position must be accurate and meticulous in documenting work.
  • Working knowledge of audio systems and basic test equipment.
  • Basic fabrication skills. (advanced skills preferred)
  • Vehicle disassembly and reassembly.
  • Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently.
  • Decision making experience with an appropriate balance between thoughtful research and need for timeliness.


Require Education and Experience:


Automotive audio system installation experience required – MECP and/ or ASE Certification is a PLUS.

DSP tuning experience preferred.

Fabrication experience preferred.

2d/3d CAD experience preferred.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Adobe Creative Suite.

Requires valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a variety of automobiles.



Travel: 10% Travel – ability to travel to CA and FL locations and trade shows as needed
