Position Overview:

The Linux Engineer will manage Redhat Linux environments, address technical issues, and implement preventive measures to ensure system stability. This role involves collaborating with IT teams to develop automation strategies, streamline deployment processes, and maintain up-to-date documentation.


Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers.

Monitor server health using automated and manual processes.

Design and deploy monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Ansible).

Perform OS maintenance, upgrades, and apply updates.

Create test automation frameworks and enhance infrastructure functionality.

Maintain software repositories and documentation.


Qualifications:

Experience: 2+ years with Linux operating systems.

Skills:

Scripting languages: Bash, Ansible, Python, Ruby, Perl.

Automation tools: Ansible.

Virtualized environments and services (e.g., Bind, Apache, MySQL, Nginx).

Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Knowledge of databases (MS SQL, Oracle, DB2).


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms.

Familiarity with open-source applications (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
