- Represent clients in patent litigation matters before federal courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).
- Develop and execute litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Advise clients on intellectual property strategy, including patent portfolio management and IP due diligence.
- Provide guidance on licensing agreements, technology transfers, and IP transactions.
Here's what you need to have...
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Advanced degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science) a plus.
- Admission to the state bar and registration to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in patent law, including significant experience in patent prosecution and litigation.
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing a book of business.
- Deep understanding of patent laws and regulations, including USPTO and international patent office practices.
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of business development.
