Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or a related field).
  • 6+ years of experience in engineering, with a focus on project management for complex, large-scale projects.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in the completion of engineering projects, ensuring they meet time, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Experience with both capital projects and R&D projects.
  • Hands-on experience with design, development, and implementation of technical solutions.
  • Vendor management, contract negotiation, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously, potentially across different locations or countries.
  • NEED industrial experience


Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in engineering design principles and tools, depending on the specific field (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
  • Strong command of project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
  • Familiarity with engineering codes and standards, safety regulations, and quality control processes.
  • Knowledge of financial management related to budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for engineering projects.
  • Expertise in risk management methodologies to assess and mitigate project risks.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics as they apply to engineering projects.


Leadership and Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and guide engineers and technical staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders, clients, and senior leadership.
  • Ability to drive project teams toward meeting deadlines and achieving milestones.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking to address project challenges, resource constraints, or technical issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, time, and cost effectively.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills to work with contractors, vendors, and team members.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments or when facing unforeseen challenges.


Industry-Specific Knowledge:

  • Experience in a specific industry (Industrial)
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards (ISO standards, ASME, OSHA, etc.).


Compensation:

$80/hr to $85/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
