Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, and implementing control systems that enhance production efficiency and reliability in a manufacturing environment. This role requires expertise in PLC programming and a strong understanding of robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control systems for manufacturing processes using PLC and HMI technologies.
  • Program and troubleshoot/troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs and related systems.
  • Implement and optimize SCARA and 6-axis robotic systems for various applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems with manufacturing equipment.
  • Conduct system testing, validation, and performance analysis to meet quality standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance system capabilities.
  • Assist with Panel design etc

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls engineering, with a focus on PLC programming.
  • Proficiency in Allen Bradley programming and control systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging experience.
  • Mixture of electrical and panel experience is a huge plus.
  • Good experience with Siemens NX.
  • Experience with HMI design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of robotic systems, particularly SCARA and 6-axis robots.
  • Familiarity with Siemens and Bosch control systems is a plus.
  • Understanding of Servo Motion, OPC, MQTT, SMI, and UI design is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
