Must Haves:

  • 2-3 years’ supervisory experience in food service industry
  • Willingness to work in a correctional facility

Day To Day:

A client in hospitality and food service is hiring cook supervisors to oversee kitchen operations in a correctional facility in Lima, Ohio. In this role, employees will be responsible for effectively managing the execution of meals, ensuring resides are adhering to their responsibilities and preparation for each following meal. It’s imperative that this person has experience taking and delivering direction to ensure meal planning, recipes and each meal is being served on time. As a cook supervisor, you will be ServSafe certified within 90 days of being an employee, however already having this certification is a plus


Appearance requirements:

  • No fake nails, no nail polish
  • Fake eyelashes need to be semi-natural
  • Jewelry: single stud earrings, necklaces cannot be long enough to dangle into food, single wedding bands only, no nose piercings
  • Visible tattoos are okay (prefer no face, neck tattoos)
  • Long hair needs to be pulled back into a baseball cap, ponytail or hair net
  • Facial hair is okay, but beard nets will be required
  • Uniform:
  • Aramark will provide a polo and shoes, black or blue pants are required *these need to be baggy, not tight pants*


Candidates will have training for this role for the first 3 weeks of employment, they will be training at the time/days of the shifts they are hired for.


Compensation:

$16/hr to $17/hr.


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.


Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
