The Business Analyst can work from either Boston, MA or Springfield, MA office in Hybrid capacity.As a Business Analyst, you will drive translating business needs into the requirements for Processes and Technology to execute on supporting our customer and employee experiences.To be successful, you will:Document business requirements with detailed technical specificationsUnderstand process flows and ensure interconnectivity of systems and applicationsAct as a liaison between Underwriting and other teams and advocate for necessary changesTranslate customer and employee needs into documented, actionable solutions with clear measurement mechanisms in service of business outcomesProvide proper documentation for the Product team to prioritize features and enhancements against a prioritization frameworkSupport Business owner, Product Manager and peers to align requirements to roadmapsProactively identify opportunities to improve business processes by maintaining a strong knowledge of available and upcoming features delivered by external vendorsUpdate procedural and processes changesEnsure development outputs meet business expectations by maintaining strong cross-functional relationships with technical and architecture teamsKeep change management principles in mind, to work with the team to establish launch readiness in response to system and process updatesWork independently and with management on highly visible, divisional/cross-divisional complex products and projectsBe sought as a key resource for documentation of unique or complex business problemsDrive continuous improvement and efficiencies beyond own scope of responsibilityRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree7+ years’ experience supporting projects and driving execution of complex technical workBusiness Analyst experience for Underwriting systemsUnderstanding of Waterfall and Agile processes and documentationStrong requirements documentation skillsAbility to drill down from the big picture to process detailsAbility to think strategicallyAbility to collaborate across diverse teams and organizationsPreferred Qualifications:Individual who enjoys solving complex problems and improving team processesLide underwriting knowledgeExposure to customer experience/user experience practicesProven ability to partner with cross-functional teams to design, configure, test, and deployDemonstrated ability to adapt to changing business prioritiesExperience with additional requirements tools including JIRA and Confluence
