About the Company:

Fortune 500 industrial supply company that provides businesses and institutions a wide range of products and services. Client specializes in the distribution of maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) products, including tools, safety equipment, cleaning supplies, and other industrial products.


Job Summary:

We are looking for a Staff Machine learning Scientist to join in Chicago. The ideal candidate will be developing cutting-edge recommendation solutions. The individual will be involved in end-to-end model development and deployment.


Key Responsibilities:

● Developing advanced machine learning models for their recommendation systems.

● Utilizing technologies such as GNNs, LLMs, and Product and Graph Embeddings to enhance their customer's product discovery experience.

● Work closely with others to integrate your models into their platforms.

● Generate visual representations of your work and the impact it creates.


Requirements:

● Education: Master’s or PhD degree in a field such as Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

● Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry delivering ML solutions

● Skills: Deep Learning frameworks like PyTorch, Jax, TensorFlow, Keras, Expert in C/Python, Deploying models with Docker and Kubernetes


Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience with GNNs, understanding of LLM’s
