Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for producing a variety of digital content for a variety of pet brands particularly in the reptile space. In this position, you will be expected to collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with the company's goals. You will also be responsible for creating engaging and informative content including website content, social media posts, and videos.

You must be comfortable with speaking and appearing on camera for this role. Comfortability handling reptiles and around office dogs is required. 😊

Part Time: 20 hours/week with potential to go full-time in the future.

Onsite: Must be able to work at the WeGro Co. office in Hull, MA Monday-Thursday, 9am-2pm

Compensation: $25/hour

Start Date: June 3rd         

Responsibilities

• Work with our Animal Care Manager and in-office ambassador animals to create valuable and informative video content for our target audience for use on social media and various websites.
• Product photography and videography (including editing)
• Create eye-catching graphics and copywriting for use in social media posts and campaigns for multiple brands
• Work with the marketing team to create content around strategic marketing campaigns for multiple brands.

Qualifications

• Passion for animals/understanding of marketing in the pet industry
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite specifically in Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Proficiency in Canva
• Experience and understanding of various social media platforms: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and Linkedin
• Graphic design knowledge
• Experience with photography/videography
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Creative thinker
• Ability to work within branding guidelines for multiple brands.
• Works well in a team setting and with solo projects
• Comfortability in front of camera when needed
• Comfortability with handling reptiles
• Sense of humor is a must :)
