Senior Sales Executive
Job Purpose: Our client Adriana Hoyos (AH) Furnishings is seeking a dynamic and passionate Senior Sales Executive to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your deep knowledge of the furniture industry and design trends to forge meaningful, long-term relationships with clients. Whether you're guiding customers through furnishing an entire room or selecting a perfect accent piece, your expertise will help bring their vision to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Proactively outreach to create and nurture new business relationships within your designated territory, consistently meeting or exceeding weekly and monthly sales goals.
- Client Consultations: Conduct in-home design consultations and visits to interior designers and design firms at least three days per week, using your own vehicle.
- Sales Process: Follow established sales processes to ensure clients find the right product at the right price, maximizing sales growth and profitability.
- Customer Engagement: Utilize creative selling techniques, teamwork, and exceptional customer service to deliver an engaged experience for every customer, every time.
- Self-Motivation: Stay accountable to individual sales and service goals as set by management, driving your success in a competitive environment.
- Customer Acquisition: Actively support and utilize customer acquisition methods available to the sales team, expanding your customer base.
- Showroom Support: Assist the Shop in Shop Showroom Team in maintaining product displays according to sales floor maintenance guidelines.
- Flexibility: Maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the VIP team and overall business, including representing the company at trade shows nationwide.
- Exemplary Service: Exhibit a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward your role and the company, fostering excellent service in all forms of communication.
- Feedback Communication: Relay customer feedback, including product requests, issues, and suggestions, to the management team to drive continuous improvement.
Skills and Abilities:
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record in sales with a minimum of 5 years of field sales experience, demonstrating an ability to close deals effectively.
- Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the furniture industry, including trends, products, and the trade.
- Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills with a keen understanding of customer needs and requirements.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Bilingual: Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Internet applications, SketchUp, CRM, and other administrative software.
- Analytical Skills: Strong math skills with the ability to process numbers accurately; Excel proficiency will be tested.
- Industry Insight: In-depth knowledge of the furniture industry and the trade, along with solid analytical, quantitative, and planning abilities.
