Director of Accounts Payable

Direct, manage, and ensure the proper recording and reporting of payables. Manage global team and coordinate with third party service providers, as they are involved in the procure to pay process.
Responsibilities of the Director
- Manage the Global Accounts Payables process from start to finish on SAP ERP.
- A minimum of 5 years’ recent A/P management on SAP ERP experience REQUIRED.
- Manage six direct reports.
- Manage outsourced team for AP processing
- PPO ownership of the PTP Process.-Process owner and subject matter expert for Procure to Pay. Involves coordination of both internal and external resources and decision making on best practices for legacy SAP systems
- S4 Hanna Subject Matter Expert: Process owner and SME for new instance of SAP
- Coordinate the payment to CTSI - third party freight provider.
- Management of Concur.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including; Treasury, Procurement, Finance, Legal, HR, FP&A and third-party service providers to ensure accounts payable transactions are recorded timely and accurately.
- Manage inquiries from and communication with external vendors and internal business partners related to Accounts Payable.
- Coordinate activities with outsourced team on the P2P function including answering their questions and responding to queries. Responsible for the on-boarding and off-boarding of the outsourced contractors.
- Perform the calendar year 1099 tax reporting for all three legacy companies
- Prepare and review various journal entries related to the month end close process.
- Perform sox controls including reviews and sign offs as needed. Responds to Internal and External Audit requests.
