Job Summary: Under the general guidance of the Quality Assurance and Release Management Sr. Manager, the QA Test Lead I will contribute to the successful implementation and support of application systems and infrastructure. The QA Test Lead I will lead projects through the testing life cycle, working closely with users, stakeholders, and project teams to analyze business processes and data, develop user requirements and functional specifications, plan and manage all phases of testing, and assist business stakeholders and project teams in delivering high-quality applications and systems on time.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the key testing processes, facilitating all QA tasks required for project completion.
  • Manage testing activities, including creating test scripts, overseeing documentation, and sending out test status reports.
  • Ensure the team follows established standards and processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a supportive work environment.
  • Lead, facilitate, and participate in cross-functional and cross-organizational workgroups to facilitate testing activities.
  • Develop, document, and maintain test processes, standards, templates, and guidelines.
  • Enforce testing standards and ensure compliance.
  • Plan and manage all phases of testing for projects, including functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify and address potential issues and risks.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in QA testing.
  • Experience in healthcare or financial systems, such as PeopleSoft, FMIS systems or Epic is a highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to lead and facilitate QA tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to enforce testing standards and processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including communication and facilitation, with strong verbal and written skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience developing, documenting, and maintaining test processes, standards, templates, and guidelines.
  • Testing experience within a vendor-packaged software environment.
  • Understanding of enterprise business processes and IT systems.
  • Ability to foresee potential issues and risks.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a supportive and cooperative team.
