Project Engineer

Join our client with this exciting opportunity to manage a variety of projects for our clients Injection Molding facility. This is an exciting opportunity with a rapidly growing organization who truly believes in growing personnel within the company.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and report important timelines and budgets for engineering products in the facility.
  • Define and source new equipment through new and existing vendors. Equipment includes but is not limited to: injection molding machines and peripheral equipment, assembly cells, robotics, etc.
  • Assist and direct team to ensure facility is prepared for new equipment installation.
  • Review injection molded part and mold designs, providing input on improvements through an iterative DFM process.
  • Monitor tool build process, attend tooling runoff at suppliers, and critiquing mold concerns.
  • Manage the tool qualification process through approvals while working with the team customer approval


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Plastics Engineering or similar Engineer field, or 10 years of experience within Injection Molding
  • 3 years Injection Molding experience
  • Familiarity with Injection mold part and tool design principles
  • 4 years of experience managing projects within a manufacturing setting
