Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, including detailed breakdowns of labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor cost
  • Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for commercial roofing construction projects
  • Stay informed of industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory requirements to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
  • Collaborate with sales team to review project prospects and generate accurate project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
  • Set up awarded bids for Production, facilitating a smooth exchange, and ensuring an efficient project start-up and completion.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven commercial roofing estimating experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of commercial/industrial roofing system designs.
  • Skilled in conducting project take-offs.
  • Knowledge of Excel, On-Screen Takeoff, Pictometry beneficial
  • Ability to read and interpret roofing plans and specifications a plus.
