Position Overview
Our team is currently looking for a Procurement Specialist for one of our clients in the Oil & Gas industry.
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for the procurement of goods and services for Company.
Responsibilities & Essential Duties
- Manage competitive sourcing events to include acquisition planning, sourcing strategies, market research, evaluating suppliers and negotiating prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other information to determine reasonable prices.
- Meet with internal stakeholders to discuss requirements, contractor performance, unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective actions.
- Evaluate and monitor contracts to ensure suppliers comply with the terms and conditions of the contract and to determine the need for changes.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Skills)
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- 5-10 years of procurement experience is required.
- Ariba or other sourcing tools and Federal Procurement is preferred.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
