CTI is an IT federal contracting company that deploys and maintains office equipment fleets for the U.S. Government. Founded in 1990, CTI specializes in deploying and maintaining multi-function devices (MFDs) and print software via comprehensive, customizable Managed Print Services (MPS) programs.


Scope of Work:


Join our dynamic Business Development (BD) team as a Federal Proposal Specialist. CTI is seeking a motivated and organized individual to support our efforts in the world of Managed Print Services (MPS) for the Federal Government. This role offers growth and development opportunities for the right candidate, who must be flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced office environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities


Proposal Development Support


  • Craft proposals and bid responses that effectively highlight CTI’s strengths and qualifications to potential clients.
  • Develop proposal content by assembling information and creating solutions/outcomes/benefits outlines and writing compelling text with win themes and differentiators.
  • Work with the BD team to understand and outline proposal requirements for RFPs and RFIs.
  • Compile technical elements in the development of assigned proposals in accordance with RFPs.
  • Format proposals and assist with final production of proposals.
  • Ensure that all proposal content is accurate, complete, and compliant with RFP requirements.
  • Proofread, edit, and format proposal documents to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Attend proposal kick-off meetings and prepare for meetings as required.
  • Work on multiple projects as assigned and managing workload as to not miss any internal and/or external deadlines.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining proposal templates, processes, and tools.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree and three to five (3-5) years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or Sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) required.
  • One to three (1-3) years of experience in Federal Contracting bid RFQ/RFI response processes preferred.
  • Strong research and analytical skills


To qualify for this position, you must have:


  • Understanding of and experience with Federal Contracting bid processes.
  • Have created federal government bid responses for services or products.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent proofreading abilities.
  • Skilled at gathering sufficient information to respond to inquiries.
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive hybrid work environment.
  • Ability to synthesize information and present findings in writing and orally.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced office environment often with short notice, to meet deadlines.
  • Working computer knowledge and able to learn new processes and complement existing workflows.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, sometimes simultaneously, under deadline pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and in front of a computer for long periods of time.
  • Proactive, collaborative work style and can-do attitude.


Requirement:


  • Must be United States citizen or permanent resident with a valid work permit.


Salary and Company Benefits:


  • Starting salary dependent on experience and fit.
