ExecuSource has partnered with a well renown Ortho/Spine group and we are assisting them on a search for a Medical Assistant at their clinic in the West Roxbury neighborhood in Boston, MA. This is a direct-hire/permanent role.


Hours are Monday-Friday, 9a-5p with no weekends or holidays. Pay is also based on experience and ranges from $20-$24/hour.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist orthopedic and spine surgeons during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Prepare patients for appointments by obtaining medical history and vital signs.
  • Perform basic clinical procedures such as wound care, suture removal, and cast/splint application.
  • Educate patients on post-operative care, exercises, and rehabilitation protocols.
  • Schedule appointments, surgeries, and diagnostic tests for patients.
  • Maintain medical records accurately and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
  • Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and workflow efficiency.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, verifying insurance, and processing patient paperwork.


What you need to succeed:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program required
  • Bilingual: Spanish/English preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of EMR systems
  • Knowledge of diagnostic testing and sterilization equipment
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
