Mid-Level Traffic Engineer & Transportation Planner

Responsibilities
  • Lead and perform specialized engineering and planning tasks with independent judgment.
  • Work closely with leaders of the firm to prepare detailed technical reports and manage project timelines.
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of associate engineers, planners, and technicians.
  • Mentor junior staff, supporting their growth and development.
  • Present findings and insights to public agencies, review boards, governing bodies, and community stakeholders.
  • Engage in internal committees to help shape our company's vision and goals.
  • Additional duties as directed by Principals and Senior Associates.

What We're Looking For:

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or Transportation Planning.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) or AICP.
  • 5 to 7 years in traffic engineering and/or transportation planning.
  • Proficiency in traffic analysis software (HCS, Synchro, VISSIM preferred) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written skills, with public speaking experience.
  • Valid driver's license, personal transportation, and U.S. work authorization.
