OCM Designer and Developer Contractor

Contract Duration: 100% remote, long-term contract


Job Summary

Georgia Tech seeks an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Designer and Developer Contractor to support its data governance and IT change management programs. The role focuses on creating resources to drive readiness, communication, and adoption of key initiatives aligned with University System of Georgia (USG) policies. The OCM Designer and Developer will design and implement organizational change management plans and learning resources to facilitate adoption and compliance across Georgia Tech's academic, research, and operational communities.


Key Responsibilities


Organizational Change Management Responsibilities

Design & Implement Learning Plans: Create measurable change plans with success metrics, adoption/resistance strategies, and phased timelines.

Monitor Progress: Collaborate with teams to track adoption rates, utilization, and proficiency of new processes throughout project lifecycles.

Develop Multimedia Training: Create engaging training materials, including web-based modules (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Vyond), job aids, and video demonstrations.

Community Engagement: Plan and execute stakeholder outreach activities, including town halls, focus groups, and community events to support change management initiatives.


Data Governance Responsibilities

OCM Strategy Development: Build a comprehensive OCM strategy for data governance projects with measurable objectives and branding.

Artifact Creation: Develop detailed guides, quick-reference materials, training modules, and reusable toolkits for data governance objectives.

Training Resource Development: Design interactive videos, attestations, and compliance-focused job aids to facilitate knowledge transfer.

Communication Strategy: Create a web presence and use tools like ServiceNow, OneTrust, and Microsoft Teams to engage the data governance community.


Required Skills

Training Development Tools: Proficiency in creating interactive training modules using tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, and Vyond.

Content Creation: Experience designing web-based knowledge articles, job aids, video demonstrations, and PowerPoint presentations.

Change Management: Demonstrated expertise in executing change management strategies, including adoption and resistance management, within data governance or technology transformations.


Preferred Skills

Prior experience working in a higher education environment.


Qualifications


Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.


Experience:

4-6 years of experience in organizational change management and/or data governance within a technology-driven environment.
