Are you the Operations Manager we’re looking for? HULK is seeking a driven Operations Manager to lead our team in a field location. This role is crucial to ensuring efficient warehousing, distribution, inventory management, and refurbishment efforts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead all field operations, including process development, warehousing, distribution, inventory management (including weekly and quarterly cycle counts), and refurbishment efforts.
  • Manage budgets (expense and labor) based on current operations and project future growth.
  • Partner with the leadership team on budget planning, order demand, and inventory control, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Develop and oversee work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet output targets.
  • Implement and monitor procedures to maximize plant efficiency while controlling production costs.
  • Supervise direct reports effectively, including interviewing, delegating tasks, performance evaluations, and providing coaching and discipline.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure operations align with customer needs and support market growth.
  • Foster a positive work environment where team members feel empowered to learn, grow, and excel. Provide ongoing development, coaching, and performance management.
  • Champion a culture of safety. You hold yourself and your team accountable to the highest safety standards.
  • Develop strategies to achieve HULK's critical goals and objectives, promoting efficiency and profitable growth.
  • Evaluate and recommend changes to policies and procedures impacting operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain financial oversight, monitor trends, and provide variance reports and corrective action plans to management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company matters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or 5+ years of relevant experience in place of degree).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of motivating and leading high-performing teams within an industrial, construction, or oilfield services company.
  • Strong work ethic, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Proficiency in various computer programs necessary for the job.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of accounting principles (budgeting, P&L management, forecasting).
  • Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean MVR.


Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to perform the following physical tasks safely and efficiently:

  • Lifting: Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Navigation: Must be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, and use a ladder safely on various terrains.
  • Environmental Exposure: Will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, wet/humid conditions, and wind, while wearing FR garments.
  • Safety Awareness: The position requires working within the oil service industry and being aware of potential dangers such as H2S exposure, fumes, airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts.
  • Vision: Must have good close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus for reading documents and computer screens.
