Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Steel Detailer at American Industrial Contractors in Lexington, KY. The Steel Detailer will be responsible for creating shop drawings, steel detailing, working with rebar, interpreting architectural drawings, and designing steel structures on a day-to-day basis.


Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Steel Detailing, Rebar, and Steel Structures
  • Proficiency in creating shop drawings and interpreting architectural drawings
  • Experience with detailing software like AutoCAD or SDS2
  • Knowledge of fabrication and construction processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant certification or degree in Engineering or Drafting is a plus
