We are currently seeking a Production Shift Manager, preferably with experience in Food and Beverage Manufacturing for our manufacturing facility.



Responsibilities:

  • Ensure daily production schedules are followed according to timing and volume
  • Ensure all documentation and paperwork is completed as specified
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are always enforced and operational
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to achieve optimum efficiency
  • Ensure the quality and food safety of our product, the safety of our employees, and the smooth operation of our production lines through process control.
  • Identify areas of improvement for plant operational efficiencies -opportunities to improve efficiency, methods, equipment, reduce waste, improve time.
  • Responsible for adhering to all food safety and quality programs to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Direct, coach, and develop the hourly workforce.
  • Set individual/departmental goals in training and development, and performance.
  • Engage the hourly team for accountability by addressing problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities as they arise.


Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand throughout entire shifts.
  • Minimum 5 years of operational/manufacturing experience. Food industry experience is preferred.
  • High School Diploma Required, College Degree Highly Preferred
  • Experience achieving positive results thru other team members.
  • Ability to work other shifts when needed
  • Ability to work all 3 shifts if needed
  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs
  • Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous
  • People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects
