Legal Counsel

Our client, a prestigious Global Asset Manager with a significant international footprint, is currently on the lookout for a Legal Counsel. The role is situated in their Chicago office and comes with the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement. This represents a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and globally acclaimed organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Offer expertise for the initiation of new funds, Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), and other structures.
- Provide recommendations for new funds, share classes, side letters, and new strategies to be implemented.
- Address legal queries from various business units or departments and provide appropriate responses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience with fund formation, investment management, or RIA's preferred.
- Doctor of Law (JD) from accredited law school.
- 2+ year's of experience with fund formation.
