Happy Tails Mobile Pet Care is launching in the Chicagoland area, offering exceptional, high-quality care for pets while providing ultimate convenience for pet parents. Our goal to add lasting value to all stakeholders to the business: pets, pet parents, and the members of our team.

Together we strive to deliver pet health and wellness services in a way that meaningfully improves the lives of pets, pet parents, and pet care professionals alike.

As a Lead Groomer, you will play a critical role in growing our mobile grooming business in a player-coach capacity whereby you will provide best-in-class mobile pet grooming services and help build an industry-leading mobile pet grooming team.

Your Role

• First 30 days - Help build the customer service offering and start serving customers
• First 90 days - Ramp-up production, co-develop and implement a performance management program, and become a culture carrier.
• First 6 months - Assist in the hiring and onboarding of our 2nd groomer and 2nd van, and help set up the pathway to hire more groomers and craft their career path

Skills We Look For

• Excellent communication skills for customer service
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional pet groomer (cats and dogs)
• Strong knowledge of pet grooming techniques and breed requirements

Compensation

We want the best groomers to join our team and believe the best-in-class groomers should be paid best-in-class. Our compensation package is built to show we believe that our mission of providing the best pet care starts with the way we pay our team members.

• Wages – up to $125k annually, comprised of a percentage of your production as well as bonuses tied to your goals
• Benefits – healthcare, 401(k) etc. are available
• First 6 months – as wages will be tied to production, a significant portion of wages will be guaranteed in the first 6 months as the business builds customer base
