Our mission is to ensure that every pet receives personalized care and attention, tailored to their specific needs, while minimizing stress and maximizing convenience for both pets and their owners.

Job Description: As a Lead Groomer, you will play a pivotal role in all aspects of our mobile grooming operations. This includes driving the pet care van and caring for the pets. As the company grows and we hire more groomers and purchase additional vans, you will contribute to recruiting and leading a team of skilled groomers, ensuring the highest standards of pet care, customer service, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Grooming Services: Perform bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling services for dogs and cats based on breed standards, client preferences, and specific grooming requests.
2. Pet Handling: Handle pets with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the grooming process, including handling nervous or anxious animals with patience and understanding.
3. Client Communication: Consult with clients to understand their grooming preferences and communicate effectively about grooming options, recommendations, and any special considerations for their pets.
4. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all grooming services meet company standards and exceed customer expectations in terms of quality and professionalism.
5. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
6. Health, Cleanliness & Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary grooming environment in accordance with industry regulations and best practices.
7. Business Development: Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion, by develop strategies to attract new clients, and foster relationships with existing clients, and recruit groomers and other pet care providers.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years in grooming or pet care
• Knowledge of grooming to help create and modify grooming packages
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of grooming techniques, equipment, and pet behavior.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Passion for animals and a commitment to their welfare.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification from a recognized grooming school or program.
• Experience in mobile grooming or a related field.
• Familiarity with grooming software and scheduling tools.

• Position will be part time to begin, then can become full time based on business growth and candidate’s desire
• Start with hourly compensation with the understanding to shift to a phased % of production compensation as business grows
• After 6 months, this position will be eligible for 401k match, healthcare benefits, and discretionary bonus
