Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead the development and execution of critical defense projects. As a Program Manager, you will oversee the lifecycle of complex electronic systems projects from initiation through delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet technical specifications, budgets, and timelines.
Bascom Hunter provides solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD) and Aerospace markets across various disciplines. Our BH Tech division currently provides products and services across four product lines: RF Systems, RF Components, Neuromorphic Processors and Photonics.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the execution of projects, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, company policies, and governmental regulations.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate and lead project meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
- Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management, to provide updates and gather feedback.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure the quality assurance of project deliverables.
- Manage resources effectively, including allocating labor, budgeting, and sourcing equipment and materials.
- Foster a collaborative team environment and support team development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in program management within the defense electronics industry.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of the defense industry’s standards and regulations.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
- Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
