Job Overview:

The Lead to Cash / Order to Cash Solution Expert will play a key role in the ERP digital transformation program, leading the implementation of SAP solutions across the Order to Cash (O2C) process. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of this core process area, ensuring that the SAP S/4HANA solution aligns with business requirements and delivers value across the organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a high-impact digital transformation, with responsibility for shaping the future of the Lead to Cash function.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in leading large-scale ERP transformations, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA and a deep understanding of Lead to Cash processes in complex global organizations, ideally in the consumer goods or FMCG industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Transformation:
  • Take ownership of the Lead to Cash process as part of the broader ERP Digital Transformation program, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and driving process improvements.
  • Provide strategic input and insights for the design and implementation of SAP solutions across the Lead to Cash process, ensuring that solutions are effective, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across business functions, IT, and project teams to define and prioritize key use cases, business requirements, and KPIs for the Lead to Cash solution.


  • Solution Design & Architecture:
  • Work closely with enterprise-level digital transformation leads and architects to ensure that the overall SAP solution is coherent and meets business needs across the organization.
  • Guide SAP Solution Integrators (SI) and partner architects in the design and delivery of a solution that aligns with business requirements, architecture principles, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Process GPOs (Global Process Owners) and Digital Leads to understand the impact of design choices across the broader enterprise architecture and ensure consistency in system design.


  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, project teams, and IT personnel, to ensure alignment and drive successful implementation.
  • Lead workshops and discussions with business users to understand their needs and translate them into SAP functional requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align on critical milestones, timelines, and deliverables.


  • Problem-Solving & Data-Driven Solutions:
  • Identify key business problems and challenges in the Lead to Cash process and propose data-driven solutions to address them.
  • Analyze complex data and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop actionable insights that inform system design and process improvements.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SAP and digital transformation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by actively seeking ways to enhance skills, knowledge, and capabilities within the team and across the organization.


Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience & Expertise:
  • Extensive experience in Lead to Cash / Order to Cash processes, ideally within a global consumer goods or FMCG company, with a strong understanding of related business processes such as order processing, billing, and collections.
  • Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA transformations, with a solid understanding of the technical, functional, and business aspects of implementing SAP solutions for large-scale organizations.
  • A strong track record of managing the design, build, and deployment of complex SAP systems, ensuring high adoption and successful delivery.


  • Strategic Thinking & Leadership:
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic guidance for the Lead to Cash process, with a focus on driving process simplification and optimization across the organization.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to oversee planning, delivery, and governance of ERP initiatives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership, technical teams, and business units to drive alignment and ensure project success.


  • Education & Credentials:
  • Degree-level qualification (or equivalent work experience). A Master’s degree or qualifications in computing, scientific, statistical, or mathematical fields would be advantageous.
