Overview:

5th Avenue Furniture, a premier home furniture retail store in Detroit, is expanding its reach with a second location and is looking for a Full-Stack Videographer on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a creative and technically skilled videographer who excels in all phases of video production, from pre-production planning to post-production editing. The candidate will create engaging and modern video content for social media, OTT platforms, traditional commercials, and CTV advertising.

Responsibilities:
  • Pre-Production:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to conceptualize video projects that align with marketing goals and brand identity.
  • Develop scripts and storyboards, organize production schedules, and prepare equipment and personnel for shoots.
  • Production:
  • Handle filming on location or in-studio with a high degree of professionalism, ensuring high-quality audio and visual output.
  • Direct participants and oversee the production to ensure alignment with the envisioned output.
  • Post-Production:
  • Edit footage to craft polished and compelling content, integrating graphics, effects, and sound as needed.
  • Ensure that all content is optimized for various distribution channels in the appropriate formats.
  • Project Delivery:
  • Meet deadlines and deliver finished products that meet or exceed quality expectations.
  • Provide final deliverables in a timely manner, ready for broadcasting and online distribution.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a videographer with a strong portfolio showcasing your full-stack capabilities in video production.
  • Expertise in using editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
  • Knowledge of current video technology and trends in digital media, social media, and advertising channels.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with attention to detail.
Contract Details:
  • This is a part-time, contract role without benefits.
  • Compensation includes payment per project plus a monthly retainer.
  • The contract will be based on agreed-upon deliverables and timelines for each project.
