Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Procurement:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of electrical components.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the availability of high-quality components at competitive prices.

Supplier Management:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules.
  • Resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing with suppliers.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels of electrical components and place orders to replenish stock as needed.
  • Collaborate with the inventory management team to forecast demand and manage stock levels.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all procurement activities.

Cost Management:

  • Analyze and manage procurement costs to meet budgetary requirements.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that all purchased components meet the required specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in purchasing/procurement of electrical components or related products.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical components, suppliers, and market trends.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
