Job Opportunity: Embedded Development Software Engineer


Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Embedded Development Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an integral member of our engineering department, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of embedded software systems that power our cutting-edge products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement embedded software applications for various platforms.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system requirements and specifications.
  • Develop device drivers and integrate third-party libraries as needed.
  • Conduct testing and debugging of embedded software applications.
  • Optimize software performance and ensure scalability.
  • Document software designs and technical specifications.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in embedded systems technology.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in embedded software development using C/C++.
  • Familiarity with microcontroller architecture and embedded operating systems (RTOS).
  • Experience with communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C).
  • Knowledge of debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes).
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience with electrical systems 
  • Experience working in Makerspace environments
  • Knowledge of Altium/EAGLE CAD
  • Knowledge of hardware design and schematic capture tools.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
