$28-$35/hr COMPENSATION RATE (depending on experience)

Our client is a large airline company based in the Greater Seattle Area.


EXPENSE ANALYST

Position Overview: We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Expense Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and monitoring company expenses, identifying trends, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and monitor company expenses, including travel, supplies, and operational costs.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators and expense trends.
  • Identify areas for cost savings and process improvements, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions.
  • Conduct variance analysis and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to support financial planning.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal departments and external vendors to support expense management efforts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in expense management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed to drive operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.



YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, expense management, or related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with airline industry finance or expense analysis (preferred but not required).



WORK ENVIRONMENT

Duration: ASAP to start, role is currently ongoing.

Location: Role is fully onsite for the first few months in SeaTac, WA and then turns hybrid remote.

Daily Schedule: M-F, 40 hours a week, no OT anticipated.

Hardware: Client will provide.

Role Requirements: Client requires a background test & a drug screen before start.
