Data Product Manager


Are you passionate about transforming data into powerful tools for marketing and loyalty initiatives? We’re looking for a dynamic leader to steer our Analytics Product teams through the exciting and evolving journey of building impactful data reporting tools and datasets. This role is at the heart of data transformation and innovation at Hilton, requiring a unique blend of product and project management expertise to meet the needs of our commercial analytics strategy.

As our Data Product Lead, you’ll champion projects through every stage of their lifecycle, ensuring seamless delivery, strong stakeholder communication, and a clear focus on impactful outcomes. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to build and shape the future of data-driven decisions across marketing, loyalty, and customer experience, all while continuously growing your own expertise in a fast-evolving field.



Your Impact:


  • Visionary Partnering: Collaborate with analytics, business, and data teams, along with external partners, to define and communicate the vision, goals, and timelines for data-driven transformation in Marketing and Loyalty.
  • Product & Project Leadership: Drive the entire development lifecycle, from product definition and roadmapping to budget oversight for multiple focus teams, to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries.
  • Measuring Success: Contribute to value measurement processes by capturing and showcasing the wins and impact of data products, helping to socialize achievements across teams.
  • Data Subject Matter Expert (SME): Provide data expertise, requirements, and insights, helping to align our tools and datasets with business needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business units, including Digital, Loyalty, MarTech, and Marketing, to identify and deliver data solutions that address critical business challenges.
  • Prioritizing Enhancements: Lead the prioritization of data enhancement requests and oversee ongoing development, ensuring the right tools and datasets are prioritized for delivery.
  • Transparent Progress Tracking: Monitor and report on progress, define project outcomes, manage scope changes, and proactively address risks with contingency planning.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Keep governing bodies, stakeholders, and teams informed through clear, timely updates and proactive expectation management.
  • Insightful Analysis: Use your analytical skills to support the planning of Marketing & Loyalty solutions, diving deep into data and assumptions to drive informed decisions.
  • Innovative Thinking: Stay at the forefront of emerging trends and tech, providing recommendations that enhance customer experiences.
  • Customer Data Platform Leadership: Collaborate with CRM on building a robust Customer Data Platform, establishing it as the foundational identity and source of truth for MarTech.
  • Market Insight: Develop an understanding of competitor strategies within the dynamic content space to shape our own approach.
  • Implementation and Integration: Guide new data capability rollouts, coordinating integration into Marketing & Loyalty tools for smooth handoffs to operational teams.

Qualifications Needed:


  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience:
  • At least 4 years of driving timeline and delivery performance in engineering, analytics, or technical projects.
  • 4 years in creating and analyzing management reports.
  • 3 years in project/product management, with hands-on experience in roadmapping, requirement gathering, and quality assessment.
  • 2 years working with data representation, storytelling, analyses, and modeling.
  • Skills: Strong risk management and root cause analysis skills.
  • Technical Familiarity: Experience with BI tools (e.g., MicroStrategy, Tableau) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheets).
